Starry-eyed

I picked up this Rimmel London lipstick on Saturday, half price thanks to superdrug.

I'm not really a massive fan of lipstick as it smudges, fades and smears. I find lipstick, the majority of the time, a huge hassle and therefore choose not to bother with it.

However, sometimes, I feel that my face looks dull, boring and in some need of colour! This is when I scavenge through the superdrug selves to find a bold, maybe even daring, colour to make me look awake and fresh.

I came across Rimmel London's long lasting lipstick in the shade starry-eyed. The colour is crimson like, and had a vampy feel to it (I'm a fan of twilight...)I fell in love with the colour instantly, and I must admit, it's pretty long lasting!

fresh as a daisy.

fresh as a daisy.

                          Dress: Topshop
                          Jumper: Ebay
                          Tops: Topshop
                          Boots: Jeffery Campbell
                          Shorts: Tops
                        Earrings: Marc Jacobs

Those who know me well will know that I am obsessed with one thing and one thing only...daisies.

I, myself, have never ever understood the obsession. It just kind of happened one day. But now...it's gotten a bit out of control.

I own...

  1. Daisy trousers
  2. Daisy playsuit
  3. Daisy maxi dress
  4. Daisy perfume
  5. Daisy umbrella
  6. Daisy pants
  7. Daisy air freshener
  8. Daisy earrings
I'm pretty sure I've forgotten some items, but yes, it's weird. But in my defence a fair amount of shops have been stocking the white petalled creatures, from new look to topshop to urban outfitters to warehouse. They are simply everywhere I look and begging me to purchase them.

These are just a selection of the daisy themed items I found whilst browsing the internet, and I fell in love with all of them, especially the topshop camis. The items of clothing are mainly provided for the summer weather, and since we're entering the autumn months, they probably won't be acceptable.

However, I will continue to flaunt my love for the flowers and wear them with pride!

Birthday wish-list

Birthday wish-list

At the moment, this is how my eighteenth birthday wish-list stands. In just over a month I'll be hitting the big 1-8 and the thought excites me yet terrifies me at the same time!

A couple of years ago I fell in love with the film breakfast at Tiffany's and since then, I fell even deeper in love with the brand Tiffany and Co. Their jewellery is outstanding, even if it is a little out of my price range. However my parents have agreed to buy me a bracelet and earrings, which I am over the moon about!

The reasoning behind the giant cookie...I just simply love cookies.

I love Pandora jewellery and think the rings are absolutely adorable. The ring pictured above features the October birth stone, which is a pretty, pastel pink!

The reasoning behind the Skins box-set...I just simply love Skins.

I'm in love with big, messy hair at the moment, and my curlers are shamefully pathetic. Therefore I am in desperate need of some new ones that actually work! I have heard several good reviews about these Remington Keratin Therapy Pro Hair Tongs and they are only thirty pound.

I found these boots a couple of months ago on ebay and instantly fell in love them. I have a bit of a strong love for boots and these ones have an edgy look which will be perfect with any outfit, casual or formal.

I'm pretty sure my list will grow over the next month, but at the minute I'm pretty happy with this combination!

Thanks! xxx

Reunions and late nights.

On Saturday night I went to a friends party, a friend who I probably haven't seen for months! Loads of my old school friends were there, with the additional friends I see a far bit at sixth form. It was nice to have a little dance and a catch here and there.

I decided to dress up a little for the occasion, but not too much since I knew we'd be in her garden (which last time ended up getting real muddy!) I decided to wear my blue patterned tapered trousers from H&M, which were in the sale at the bargain price of £7.50. The trousers made the outfit brighter, fancier and basically more exciting.

I matched the trousers together with a plain white sleeveless shirt, also from H&M. The blouse was £7.00 and goes with pretty much anything, it suited the trousers nicely. I put a necklace with the collar of the blouse to give it some umph and make the blouse look pretty instead of plain.

The necklace was in the sale at new look for £3.50 and I immediately had to buy it! It's ridiculously pretty and will snazz up any outfit.

Once again, my brown sandals were out in full force last night. The primark beauties are my favourite companion for any outfit, and at the bargain price of £12, I was tempted to purchase another pair.

I have no explanation for why I put these together, other than I wear these sandals with everything, although the colours do compliant one another.

I painted my nails before I had even chosen my outfit (I need to start organising my outfits, asap!) I'm in love with this colour, it's very summery and poppy. The Barry M nail polish is a limited edition and unfortunately does not have a name!

Also, if you're not already, follow me on instagram! I post a fair bit on there, well I try to anyway, soooo.

Thanks!
