Tea Temperature?

I love how, at the minute, the hardest decision I experience is what temperature to drink my tea at. Do I drink it right from the kettle and burn my mouth or leave it cool off a little? What is the perfect tea temperature?

Just over a month ago, my exams had started and my brain had gone into overdrive. Now I spend my days daydreaming, exploring and living; weird huh? I've really enjoyed being able to appreciate things and feel happy once again; I've been able to spend time with my family and enjoy just basically living!

Recent trips to the cities of Lichfield and Worcester have made me realise how much I truly miss exploring new places and being outdoors, especially in the beautiful weather. The new and unfamiliar surroundings have made my imagination explode with thoughts and feelings; further inspiration for writing and dreaming.

Plus, I've also been able to spend time with my family and actually get along with them! During my exam period I was full of stress and nerves which caused tension between my family and I but now I'm really enjoying their company.

I've also just got a job, which I started on Sunday, and I am truly over the moon about it. I've been unemployed since January and have really missed earning money, working and socialising. I'm really looking forward to spending my summer at my new job; it's a happy place to be.

So things are looking up and I am taking everything one little step at a time, truly appreciating everything around me. How else can you enjoy life?

P.S. There are so many cute shops in the city of Worcester...sweet shops to clothes shops! One shop that was really cute was called New England country store, filled with cute items, stocking brands such as Cath Kidston!

£5.00 Swimming Costume?

Following a recent George sale at Asda, my mom picked me up this unique swimming costume for only £5.00! Yes, £5.00.

I'd spotted the little beauty previously and fell in love with the print; it screams holiday, holiday, holiday! So I was well chuffed when my mom brought it back for me reduced from £12.00 to £5.00. It fits really well and is true to size; I can't wait to wear it in Florida!

The costume also features "tummy control" but I didn't really notice any difference when I had it on. Plus, you can wear the costume both strapless and halter-neck, snazzy!

I've previously brought swimming costumes from Asda and they've lasted really well! Has anyone else picked up any bargains lately?

Speak soon m'dears

Throwback Thursday: Swimming with Dolphins

When I was a little lass my summer holidays were mainly spent in the Island of Tenerife, fascinated by the dolphins at Loro park. Every single show they would pick a child from the audience to star in the dolphin show and surprise surprise, they never picked me! (It may have been something to do with the fact that I was a rather chubby child who may have weighed down the little rubber boat)I remember getting really upset every single time I got rejected. I was madly and deeply in love with the sea mammals.

Then, two years ago, my dreams came true! On a family holiday to the island of Cuba we took a trip to swim with dolphins just a coach trip away. I could not contain my excitement. After sixteen years I was finally going to experience my childhood dream...

We had to take a boat trip over the site; the Bahia de Naranjo Nature park was located in the middle of the ocean, it was incredible! We were one of the first groups to enter the pool with the dolphins; we paid extra to do three tricks which were unreal.

I got the opportunity to get lifted up by the dolphins, waterki with the dolphins and get pulled around the pool by them. All three tricks were absolutely insane; it was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

After the tricks, we had an interaction session with the dolphins; we were split into groups of ten and did loads of little tricks with them.

I was like a small child in a sweet shop. I left the pool completely buzzing (lol) from the experience; I can't even begin to explain how happy I was!

But then it got even better! We went to watch the dolphin show and guess what? I GOT CHOSEN TO TAKE PART. Even though I had to kinda sorta embarrass myself in front of the entire audience, it was so worth it! I got to go in the water with the dolphins again and have one on one time with the dolphins; it was truly incredible!

Have you ever swam with dolphins? If so, where?!

Plus, let me know what your childhood dreams are and if you've ever achieved them!

Natural World Hair Treatment Oil Review

My hair is notoriously known for being pretty dull and dry. Brilliant, eh?

For some reason my hair never seems to have that natural dazzling look advertised on the TV 24/7, sigh. However I've been using natural world's moisture repair hair treatment oil with Moroccan Argan oil and it has done my hair wonders! I've previously used the shampoo and conditioner, which were fabulous, but thought I'd try the oil solely on its own.

My hair appears softer, shinier and less greasy! Brilliant. After every shower I apply a blob of the oil onto the ends of my damp hair and thoroughly work it into my ends. It could not be simpler :)

I think I picked it up a few months back from savers for a mere £1.99, bargain hunter. For such a small price, you really can't go wrong! Has anyone else used this product or one similar? Let me know!

Thank you lovelies!

One Direction - Etihad Stadium, Manchester

I really hoped I would have plucked up the courage to do a vlog on this but unfortunately I'm not at that stage yet!  So before it gets too late to do this post here it is...

A couple of weeks ago I finally got to see the 1D boys in all their glory at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. After a year of waiting I was more than excited for the day, even though it was the weekend before three major exams...oops!

Any-who. At 5:57am I boarded the train from Birmingham to Manchester. Yup. 5:57am. Crazy. My friend, my sister and I had standing tickets in the yellow section of the stadium and wanted to have the best view possible, this meant living on around four hours sleep!

We arrived at the stadium at around 8am and joined the queue of around 70 people. Then we waited for eight hours...

The wait wasn't that bad; we chatted to people around us, ate food and tried to restore our energy. However during the final hours of queuing it was a tad chaotic as people decided to push and panic. Teenage girls + one direction are truly a recipe for disaster!

Eventually we made it into the stadium...after being pushed and shoved and nearly dragged to the floor! I honestly felt like I was in the hunger games, pure carnage! But eventually me and my sister grabbed onto my friend and made it into the yellow section.

Unfortunately we weren't at the barrier but we were only five rows back...eye contact with Harry was definitely a possibility. Now we waited some more before the support act (5 seconds of summer) came on stage.

Truth is, I am also a massive 5 seconds of summer fan so I was well and truly excited! After a few music videos the 5SOS boys came on stage; I went bloody mental! They preformed an amazing set of songs and got the crowd going ready for the lads.

A pathetic argument with a sixteen year old and a panic attack later, the 1D boys came on stage! They put on an amazing show, no doubt about that. They were passionate, enthusiastic and fun, to say the least. The show also included amazing graphics, fireworks and confetti; what more could you want?!

Overall the experience was one never to be forgotten, even if I did feel a tad old surrounded by 14-16 year old girls! I danced and sang to my hearts content and *possibly* made eye contact with all the 1D lads.

Excited much?

Thanks lovelies!

Walk of Freedom

So today was my final A Level examination and it killed me! But I'm thinking positive and plan on enjoying my three months off before I *hopefully* head to university.

After my exam, I took a stroll through my local park and took some pictures. It's amazing how much a walk can clear your head :)

So hopefully this is the start of a beautiful friendship between me and blogger as I hope to spend the next three months filling my blog up!

Hope you guys enjoy, thanks!

Supermarket Savvy!

To be well and truly honest, it is very rare that I ever go into high street shops like Topshop and River Island and spend an absolute fortune. I like to view myself as a money aware fashionista; I hate spending large amounts of money on clothes.

But in today's society you don't always have to splurge to look good; supermarkets are jumping on the bandwagon and producing clothes very similar to our favourite clothing brands.

And no. This hasn't just happened overnight. For the past two to three years I have been a regular shopper at George Asda and have purchased some amazing and affordable items. People sometimes ask me where I have brought clothes from and when I reply "Asda" they tend to turn their noses up; I have never really been a fashion snob.

Of course, I'd love to have a wardrobe full of Zara and Miss Selfridge but the truth is my bank account has a limit (along with everyone else's)

One of my favourite purchases from George at Asda is this chiffon blouse...for £16.00 I couldn't go wrong.

So I thought I'd have a little browse and show you guys what's on offer at Asda.

1. These cute flute floral shorts are from the G21 range from George at Asda. They are adorable and are perfect for the summer (£12.00)

2. This denim skirt was the first thing to catch my eye on the website; how adorable is it?! For only £14.00 it is a true and utter bargain; perfect for pastel colours.

3. I love kimonos; when matched with denim shorts they are my favourite outfit for the summer. I love how dainty and vintage this one looks! (£16.00)

4. I am not a massive fan of these types of skirts but it was too pretty not to include! The chiffon panel gives the skirt an unusual look, perfect for pastel colours.(£16.00)

5.These culottes are really smart and sophisticated. They'd look perfect matched with a black and white striped top...and maybe a beret? (£14.00)

6. I don't know whether or not I'd wear this myself but I love the colours and style of the dress. It screams "take me on holiday"; it would look lovely matched with white or brown sandals on an evening. (£18.00)
